Robert "Bob" Lingel

Robert Bob T. Lingel, 61, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at the Pit Stop immediately following the services. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Bob was born in Great Falls on December 31, 1952 to George and Jacquline (Weise) Lingel. He was the third of four children. He received his education in Great Falls.He worked as a truck driver and was currently employed at Steel Etc. In the past he worked for Lumber Yard Supply and Taylors Transportation. He had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting in the Beartooth, fishing in Lincoln and spending time with the grandchildren.Bob was a great man, husband, dad, and grandpa. We will remember him for his fun personality and being our greatest supporter. Bob was loved by many and will be greatly missed.Bob is survived by his wife Sheri Lingel of Great Falls; daughters Bobbi Jo (Chad) Mares and Stacey (Shawn) Jones both of Great Falls; grandchildren Cade Mares, Kelly Jones, Ashlyn Jones, and Rilee Mares; mother Jacqueline Lingel of Libby; brother William (Sharon) Lingel of Troy; sisters Bonnie and Elizabeth Lingel both of Great Falls;He was preceded in death by his father George Lingel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Great Falls Animal Shelter, 1010 25th Ave NE, Great Falls, MT 59404.
