Robert Mitchell Spry, aged 64, passed away on March 27, 2025, in Ulm, Montana.
Robert was born on June 27, 1959, in Great Falls, Montana. His father was in the service, so Robert attended many schools but graduated from Neah Kah Nie in Garibaldi, Oregon. He also spent a couple of years in Missoula at the University playing football for the Grizzlies.
Throughout his life, Robert worked many jobs. He worked on a fishing boat during his school age years. He worked in food delivery, he was a surveyor helper for CGG, he was a maintenance man, and he worked as a property manager at Buchanan Inc. until his retirement.
Robert enjoyed spending his time outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and hiking. He would always make time on trips to help others in the woods when help was needed.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Mark D. Burwell, Jr. and Charles Robert Spry; parents, Charles E. and Karen L. Spry; his biological father, Marv Johnson; half-sisters, Tanya and Sonja; brothers, Ron (Jennifer) Spry and his children, Pat, Angie, and Jason; and his foster brother, Paul Burton. Robert is also survived by grandchildren, Santina, Damian (Nikki), Madison, Mathias, and Malachi; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Jeriah, Maci, and Valor.
A service will be held on June 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schnider Funeral Home Hospitality Room.
