Roxane Forbes

Roxane Marie (Nelson) Forbes, 27, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at home from cancer.Roxy was born October 23, 1989 in Great Falls. She graduated high school in 2009. In 2010, she was married to Alec Forbes. She worked as an innkeeper at the Forbes family business.She enjoyed exploring new things with her husband and sharing them with her family, from board games to skiing and everything in between. Roxy loved going to the zoo, playing Zelda video games, being outdoors and spending time with her rabbits. Her hobbies included photography, playing guitar, spinning wool, making soap, raising goats and rabbits and gardening.Roxy was a loving, gentle young woman with a fierce loyalty for those she loved. She will be deeply missed.Roxy is survived by her husband, Alec Forbes; parents Rich and MaryJo Nelson; sisters Veronica and Rebecca Nelson; parents-in-law Steve and Polly Forbes; brothers-in-law Mike and Steve Forbes; and many other family and friends who loved her.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Donations in Roxys name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1903 Central Ave., Billings, MT 59102.
