Shirlee Eloise Wyman, 79, of Great Falls, MT, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Peace Hospice.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Shirlee was born on May 4, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri and adopted by John and Marie (Jones) Erbes. She was raised in Greenfield, IA. Shirlee married Gary G. Wyman in Boulder, CO in 1957. She received a bachelors degree in English, Literature and Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. She taught middle school in Littleton, CO. She also taught English at East Junior High School in Great Falls and at Fort Walton Beach, FL.Shirlee was a hardworking mother and housewife.She was an active member of the PEO, Chapter BD and served in several elected offices. Shirlee was the president and teacher of cross stitching at the local EGA (Embroidery Guild of America). She liked sewing clothes and quilts, and cross stitching. She also enjoyed reading books, especially mysteries and romance novels.Shirlee is survived by her husband, Gary Wyman of Great Falls; daughters Laurie Crawford and Sarah Wyman; son Richard (Mary) Wyman; and two grandchildren, Jessup and Molly Wyman.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
