Shirley Carlson

Shirley Ann Carlson, age 77, passed away on September 5, 2014, after a long battle of Alzheimers.As per her wishes, there will be no services. Schnider Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation.Shirley was born in Great Falls, Montana on March 11, 1937, daughter of the late Angelo and Helen (Goga) Lencioni. Shirley attended local schools and graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School in 1955. In July of 1966 she married David Carlson. They made their home in Anaconda, MT where she worked at, and ultimately retired from, Buttreys Food & Drug.Attending craft fairs and knitting were Shirleys favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed sharing her much beloved homemade pasties.Shirley is survived by her two sisters, Sharon (Gary) Winchell and Debbie (David) Gentry; daughter Kim (Nick) Nelson; grandchildren Thina (Chris) Connelly, Angela Puccinelli, and Joran Nelson; and great-grandson, Jacob Connelly.Memorial contributions in Shirleys name may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Montana Chapter, 3010 11th Avenue North, Billings, MT 59101.
