Shirley Ann Kelleher, 81, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, November 14, 2014 of natural causes.A family burial will take place on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Highland Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.Shirley was born on October 31, 1933 in Great Falls, Montana. She met Joseph Kelleher and they were married on August 14, 1948 in Fort Benton. They just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.Joe and Shirley raised six children, two sons and four daughters; Danny, Ranny, Carlena, Tonya, Kaylee, and Nettie.She worked many years at the old Columbus Hospital and opened the first detox unit. She also worked at the new Columbus Hospital on 15th Avenue South before moving to Butte. At the Butte Hospital she worked for several years before moving to Hawthorne, NV where she was a nurse in the ER. Upon retirement they moved back to Great Falls.Shirley enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kelleher of Great Falls; son Ranny Kelleher of Winnemucca, NV; daughters Carlena Francis, Tonya (James) Wandke, Kaylee Kelleher, and Nettie Collins all of Great Falls; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Lindsay; son Danny Kelleher; brother Albert; sisters Marie and Kay; son-in-law Butch Francis; and daughter-in-law Norma Kelleher.
