Steven Anthony Pearson

Steven Anthony Pearson passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 3, 2022, in Great Falls, Montana with his dear wife of 18 years, Renie Pearson, by his side. Steven was born on April 9, 1969, in Emporia, Kansas and grew up in Adrian, Missouri, where he graduated from Adrian High School. As a young man, he spent many summers as a lifeguard at The Salvation Army’s Army Lake Camp, East Troy, WI where he made many life-long friends. This camp was where Steven accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Steven also spent many years in the St. Charles, IL area, where he met his wife and was a beloved member of The Salvation Army’s Tri-City Corps. Throughout his life, Steven dedicated himself to his family, the service of others and strived to lead others to Christ. Over the years, he served as a Salvation Army Corps pastor, a social worker, and a chef in many local restaurants in Great Falls. He was an active member of Harvest Springs Community Church, Great Falls, where he found a community to do life with and many people he called family. His church family and community meant so much to him. He loved to serve and do life with his family and church family. Most recently, he worked at Great Falls Rescue Mission as Head Cook. Additionally, Steven loved to cook and to bring people together through his food. He will be remembered for his testimony about his personal relationship with Jesus and being kind and compassionate to all. Steven was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife, Renie; and four beautiful children, Zechariah (16), Hezekiah (15), Hannah (11), and Josiah (10). He is also survived by his parents, Gloria and Jess Boston of Bolivar, MO; two sisters, Angela Venner of Elgin, IL and Rebecca (Kenny Witzel) Boston of Branson, MO; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. In honor of Steven’s life, a service will be held at Harvest Springs Community Church, 1001 36th Ave NW, Great Falls, MT on Tuesday, February 15th at 4 pm.
