Terry Taylor, Sr. of Great Falls, age 93, passed away of natural causes on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Benefis surrounded by his loving family. A viewing will take place at Schnider Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral liturgy at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish will take place on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. A private burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery following the funeral. Terry Taylor, Sr. was born in 1928 in Page, NE to Lee and Faye Taylor. Terry attended a small K-12 school in Page and graduated with a two-year degree in business from Norfolk Community College. He married Minnie Kirk in Omaha in 1950. Terry worked as a “weenie peddler” as he put it, for Hormel Meat Packing Company and retired after 40 successful years. Terry also had interests in Real Estate, electronics with his good friend Jim, and as a driver for Rice Motors. Terry had a passion for farming which led him to purchase a small farm near Carter, MT with his close friend, Bob. He also loved fishing with his dad and son, taking his family on camping trips. He was involved in Boy Scouts as well. Terry was also known to love his SPAM and scotch…cheap scotch. Terry is survived by his daughter, Christine (Lawrence) Busch of San Diego; son, Terry (Tonie) Taylor, Jr. of Great Falls; eight grandkids, Emily (Evan) Seeley, Lee (Aranda) Taylor, Lawrence (Jennie) Busch, Jason (Kristin) Taylor, Angela Busch, Kyle (Brittany) Taylor, Kassie (Aaron) Roberts, and Caleb Taylor; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie; his parents, Lee and Faye Taylor; and brother, Monte “Tick” Taylor. The funeral will live stream at holyspiritGF Facebook page.
