Tom Lowery

Tom Lowery, 83, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016.Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., also at Hillcrest. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Tom was born on June 9, 1933 in Great Falls, MT to James and Magdelan Lowery. He grew up on a homestead in Dutton with seven brothers and sisters. When old enough, he joined the Air Force, and was sent to Germany where he met and then married Trudy in 1957 in France. They were married 59 years. Most of his career was spent at City Motor Company as a mechanic.Family was a very important part of his life. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and spending time with family at their cabin. He will be greatly missed.He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Trudy Lowery; daughter Gayle (Mark) Mauler; son Gary Lowery; and granddaughters Stephanie (Erik) Chosa and Ashley Mauler.
