Tonya Dee Bumbarger

Tonya Dee Bumbarger, aged 66, passed away on June 21, 2026, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Tonya was born on May 2, 1960, in Great Falls, Montana, to Fred and Pat Bumbarger. She was raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School. She continued her education at the University of Providence in Great Falls, where she earned her undergraduate degree before attending the University of Montana School of Law and obtaining her law degree.

Tonya dedicated more than 30 years of her life to the practice of law, serving her clients with intelligence, determination, and integrity. Throughout her career, she earned the respect of colleagues and those she represented.

She divided her time between Marion, Montana, and Butler, Georgia, enjoying the beauty and unique character of both communities. In her later years, Tonya attended First Baptist Church in Reynolds, Georgia, where she found fellowship and spiritual encouragement.

Tonya found great joy in the outdoors. She was an avid gardener who took pride in tending her rose bushes. She developed a love of horseback riding at a young age and later shared that passion with her daughter. She also enjoyed hunting, observing wildlife, and taking long walks outdoors, appreciating the beauty and peace of nature.

Above all, Tonya cherished her family. She is survived by her daughter, Arielle (Adrian) Mast; sister, Camie (Randy) Eustance and their son and daughter; and brother, Brent (Beverly) Bumbarger and their son.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Pat Bumbarger.

Tonya will be remembered for her strength, independence, love of nature, devotion to her family, and the kindness she shared with those who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Schnider Funeral Home Reception Room, 1510 13th St S, Great Falls, Montana, on July 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

An entombment will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Mausoleum, 1410 13th St S, Great Falls, Montana, on July 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
