Tracy Vern Davison

October 14, 1958 — April 10, 2018

Tracy Vern Davison, 59, of Great Falls, was surrounded by the love of all his family and friends while he was carried to heaven on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Tracy was born on October 14, 1958 in Great Falls, Montana to Loyal “Elmo” and Evelyn “Grace” (Hankins) Davison. When he was younger, he worked on the family ranch and surrounding farms as a hand in the Highwood area.He then went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad, before getting a job as a fiber optic cable installer traveling all over the western United States with his family, until he retired in 2014. Tracy and Judy Miller married on August 6, 1994 in Highwood, Montana and together they became a family of six. He always said their honeymoon was by far his favorite trip they ever took together and someday he wanted to do it all over again. Tracy was always up for a good joke and could B.S. with the best of them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4 wheelers, and motorcycles. You would often find him spending time with his family and friends reminiscing of adventures growing up out in Highwood, speaking of his many road trips, and defending his Seahawks. He loved talking to anyone who would listen and they soon became life-long friends. In his later years, he found daily enjoyment in taking his beloved companion, Rebel for her morning runs, and in the evenings, dropping $5 in a machine with his beloved wife, Judy. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons Mitch Davison, Dallas Davison, James Smith, and Rikki (Jackie) Miller all of Great Falls; brother Jay (Karla) Davison of Highwood; sisters Sandy (Larry) Mee and Suzie (Dee) Zimmer both of Highwood, Ruth “Bope” (Neil) Kulbeck of Big Sandy, and Lynn Oliver of Arizona; and grandchildren Morgan Smith, McKenna Davison, and Valyn and Ryleigh Brownlee all of Great Falls. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lee Davison; sister June Jacobson; brother-in-law Jack Oliver; and mother-in-law Georgia Moe. A gathering to celebrate Tracy's life with family and friends will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Schnider Funeral Home.
