Don Golie

Don Golie, 71, of Great Falls, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016.A graveside service will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home handling the arrangements.Don was born on April 9, 1945 to Carl and Agnes (Mayrenik) Golie in Great Falls. He grew up and attended Great Falls schools. He worked for Riverside Construction and Gregory and Cook out of Texas.He married Janis Peressini and they had two sons.Don was a lifelong member of the Teamsters Union, restored and raced cars, and loved hunting and fishing in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and the Neihart area.He is survived by his wife, Janis of Great Falls; sons Jeff of Great Falls and Steven (Kistia) of Ft. Benton; brothers Carl (Pascaline) of Owings, MD, Mike (Vicky) of Salt Lake City, UT, David (Shari) of Hamilton, and Bill (Debbie) of Kalispell; sisters Stacie (Jim) Gannon of Wolcott, CT and Leah (Kermit) Allestad of Arlee; and grandson Wyatt Golie.
