Kathy Mae Loss, 52, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN.A cancer survivor of 8 years, she developed heart problems and had recently been flown to Mayo to await a heart transplant. She received her new heart on October 5th, amazing the transplant team through her successful surgery and rapid progress so much so they called her a rock star! Early on October 15th, she suffered a stroke that would sadly take her life four days later!Kathy was born on January 23, 1964 in Great Falls, Montana to Francis Babe Loss and Katherine Katie Loss. She became co-owner of Fairfield Drug, Inc. in 2005 following previous employments at Eagle Grocery, Lloyds Drug and Barrett Drug.She was a life-long member of Fairfield Assembly of God Church, and a born again follower of Jesus. Kathy loved people, photography, all of the outdoors and traveling.She never complained of her illnesses. Kathy wanted to be remembered for her smile and her encouraging words.Kathy is survived by her two brothers, Bob (Janice) of Fairfield and Keith (Judy) of Great Falls; three nephews and families, Leonce (Pam) and Chloe and Brody of Two Rivers, WI, Kenny (Brenda) and Noelle of Lewistown, MT and George and families of Bakersfield, CA.She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny in 1954; her dad in 1993; and her mom in 2014.A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Schnider Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28th at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28th at New Life Church in Choteau, MT.
