Mary Jo (Gregory) Christensen, 51, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, November 6th, 2014 from liver disease at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.A vigil service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Mary Jo was born July 24, 1963 at Bitburg Air Base, Germany to Jim and Rose Gregory and was raised In Fort Walton Beach, Florida with her brothers and sisters Brit, Nancy, Scott, Shawn, John, and Emily.She met her husband Kurt Christensen and moved to Great Falls in 1997 with her daughters Carley and Bryce Spielman. They were married April 8, 2000 at the Columbus Chapel in Great Falls.Mary Jo had a true talent for interior design and loved to speak with people, the combination provided her a career in sales. She worked at Central Floor Covering, Falls Restoration, and most recently as an office manager and salesperson for Warehouse Flooring.She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family throughout Montana. Her true love was in cooking, meal presentation, and making those around her comfortable. Her philosophy was if you came over to eat, you better punch another hole in the old belt buckle!Mary Jo is survived by her husband Kurt; daughters Bryce Spielman and Katelyn Christensen of Great Falls; mother Rose Gregory of Ft Walton Beach, FL; brothers Brit Gregory of TN, Scott Gregory of New Orleans, LA, and John Gregory of Ft Walton Beach, FL; sisters Nancy and Emily Gregory both of Ft Walton Beach, FL; and Aunt Deloris Gregory of Great Falls.She was preceded in death by her daughter Carley Spielman of Great Falls; father Ollie (Jim) Gregory and brother Shawn Gregory both of Ft Walton Beach, FL.
