Michael Mizenko, 82, of Great Falls, passed away December 1, 2014.A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Schnider Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Dick Schlosser presiding. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Michael was born on March 5, 1932, in Great Falls, Montana, to Michael and Mary (Yatsko) Mizenko. He was raised in Stockett, Montana. He graduated from Centerville High School and excelled in sports and academics. Michael was a Master Plumber and Business Agent for the Local 139 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters.He enjoyed dancing, woodworking and even built his own home. Michael was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin.He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a life time member of the VFW.Michael is survived by his sons, Byron (Cindy) Mizenko, Greg Mizenko and Troy Mizenko; grandchildren, Michael Mizenko, Bryan Mizenko, Roxy (Denis) Stringer, Nicole Mizenko, Luke Mizenko, Caleb Mizenko and Kolton Mizenko; great-grandchildren Sage Mizenko, Gracie and Talon Stringer, Jayden Mizenko; sister Delores Sissy Mills all of Great Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his wife; son; parents; and twin brothers.No flowers per Michaels request.
